Cash for Appliances and Energy Star Appliance Rebate Programs for 2010- Info from all 50 States
I just filled out an application for a Louisiana “Cash for Appliances” rebate, as my wife and I are looking to buy a new refrigerator to replace our old, way too small for a family of 4 refrigerator we bought quite a while back. I started looking up info on other states out of curiosity, and decided to go ahead and post links to the Cash for Appliances programs in all 50 states (plus DC). The rebate program is part of the State Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program (SEEARP).
Each state has specific rules on who is eligible, start and end dates of the programs, and which types of appliances are eligible- some are for low income residents only, others only cover certain appliances, and some programs are already closed- I have tried to update the status on those that are already closed below. Many are underway, and will likely close soon, so if you are interested be sure to check it out quickly!
