Weekly Personal Finance Links- Will the Stimulus Actually Stimulate the Economy?

by RC on February 9, 2009

The U.S. Senate is expected to pass the stimulus bill early this week, likely somewhere in the $800 billion dollar range. They will then have to agree upon the bill’s details with the House of Representatives. Will it help stimulate the economy? There seems to be quite a bit of money in the bill that may not directly create jobs or stimulate the economy, I guess we will have to wait and see!

Well, I guess we all hope it does. With that kind of money been pumped into the system we’ll expect at least a change. like you said, that will not create jobs or pay our bills/debts. Thanks for the great resource.
