It's been an incredible shift for our family. We used to spend stupid amounts of money shopping for groceries and household items every week. Now my average spending for a family of 5, including household items and food, runs about $100 a week. I even wrote a book on how to do it yourself. My use is only about less than a year long but I must admit I love doing it and I am beating myself over the head for not starting sooner. The coupons that have been out recently were not very good but I am thinking they will get better as companies realize that more and more people are interested in saving money by using coupons.
