Weekend Roundup- New Theme Edition

If you're new to "Think Your Way To Wealth", get free updates on debt reduction, saving money, and building wealth by subscribing to the RSS feed or via Email . Thanks for visiting!

As you may have noticed, there have been a few changes around here over the last few days, which have resulted in a new look for Think Your Way To Wealth. I installed a new theme, which gives the site a whole new look. I still have a few more tweaks and adds to finish it, but they will be minor. A special thanks to Pete at Bible Money Matters and Blog Logos for the awesome new logo!

I’d be interested in hearing any comments or suggestions from readers, so if you’re reading this via RSS, come over and check it out. Things were a little slow around here for the last few days, but I’ll be back on a regular schedule next week.

I participated in 4 carnivals over the last week:

Kevin at No Debt Plan hosted the Carnival of Personal Finance #165: College Football Edition and included my article “Six tips for starting a part-time business”. Kevin is a Tennessee Vols fan, and I am an LSU fan, so we did a little verbal “jousting” in the comments section- I guess we’re both getting fired up for college football season to start!

My favorites from the COPF:

The Best Way I’ve Found To Truly Save Money by PT at Prime Time Money

Ashley at Wide Open Wallet tells us what personal finance is.

David at MoneyNing hosted the Festival of Frugality 138-The First Principles and included my article “Frugal Things to do in New Orleans, Louisiana” My favorites from the festival were:

Don’t Be a Self-Righteous Frugalist by Jason at Frugal Dad

The Hidden Fee That Costs Us Money by Jonathan at Master Your Card

Living Almost Large hosted the Carnival of Debt Reduction 152- and included my article ” Credit Card Debt Elimination Using a Zero Percent Balance Transfer”. My favorites from the CODR:

Three Quick Steps To Get Out of Debt at Fire Finance

Monthly Checklist To Help Speed Up Your Debt Reduction And Increase Your Savings posted at No Credit Needed

The Personal Financier hosted the Money Hacks Carnival #25-Olympic Edition and included my article “Are Gas Guzzlers and the Suburbs Equally to Blame for America’s Current Fuel Crisis?”

My favorites from the carnival were:

Can I Pay Less for Something of Similar Value? by Lazy Man and Money

How to Save Energy (and impress your friends!) at Art of the Coupon

Thanks for sharing my article with your readers! I love the new theme, and logo (doesn’t Pete do great work)! By the way, I’m an Auburn man myself, and with Tennessee and LSU on the schedule this year it looks like I’m going to be outnumbered. Like you guys, I can’t wait to kickoff the new season!

Frugal Dad- Thanks! Pete does do great work. He is really talented.
We’ve had some classic battles with Auburn over the last few years-but they’ve been great games! Just a couple of weeks to the first kickoff!
